Pastor's Bio
 

A native Baltimorean, Pastor Allison was raised in Baltimore County, Maryland, educated in the Baltimore County Public School system and is a graduate of Woodlawn High School.   She preached her initial sermon on October 19, 2003. After which she was trained and nurtured by her former pastor and mother in ministry Rev. Dr. Frances “Toni” Draper.  

Pastor Allison's ministerial roots are in the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church (AME Zion). She received two levels of ordination in 2008 and 2009 respectively. In May of 2008 she and founded the New Light AME Zion Church.

After 10 years of service in the AME Zion Church, Pastor Allison was ordained under the apostolic covering of Dr. Karen S. Bethea and the Set the Captives Free Pastoral Alliance on December 28, 2014.  And the beloved New Light AME Zion Church was transformed to Light of the World Outreach Center.
 
Pastor Allison holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from the New Bible College and Seminary and is currently pursuing her Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Leadership at Andersonville Theological Seminary. She is a member of the Female Clergy Support Group of Maryland.
 
She is married to her devoted husband, Executive Pastor John Lightner.  Together they share six wonderful children.
