Michael A. McNeill Jr. was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. He had a passion for music at an early age. At the age of seven, he started his first group called “Michael McNeill and the Michael McNeill Singers". This group of 1st through 5th graders lasted for two years. He then directed a second choir, "The Spiritual Notes". The next year, he joined the Maryland State Boy Choir, under the direction of Frank T. Cimino and Steven A. Holmes, where he is now an alumnus. Michael has directed and continues to direct, multiple choirs in the D.M.V area. He was an apprentice under Dr. Douglas V. Logan of Woodlawn High School Music Department. Currently, he is the Founding Director of Voices of Inspiration, a community choir of 14-29-year-old youth and young adults which are under the musical “umbrella” of Rebirthing Ministries.

Michael is a world traveling singer and minister who has been blessed to travel to 48 states and abroad to places such as Canada, France, Wales, England, Bermuda, South Africa, Barbados and Mexico. He has also performed for three Presidents of The United States. With the a personal charge to walk more in the word of God, he began the cultivation of his ministry as a minister at the New Rehoboth Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Zollie R. Wright.

 Elder McNeill is the founder and president of Rebirthing Ministries. In 2012 it started as an outlet to reach the youth and young adults in the metropolitan area. Its sole purpose is to aid in the spiritual growth of the people it encounters through the ministries of preached word and song. The ministry encourages “a real word for a ready people". It inspires to prepare the hearts and minds of youth and young adults who will pick up their cross and follow Christ.

 Dr. McNeill is currently the Resident Hall Director and Community Standards Board Chair for Residence Life at Bowie State University, Bowie, Maryland.  He is also an Adjunct Professor of Cultural Anthropology at Washington Adventist University (Tacoma Park, Maryland), where he also served as Assistant Dean of Men and Residential Life Student Coordinator.

 Pastor McNeill earned his Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Washington Adventist University and is working on his Doctor of Philosophy in Biblical Christian Counseling from Wycliffe Theological Seminary in Endicott, New York. Recently, he was inducted into (Psi Chi) International Honors Society in Psychology. He holds many awards, achievements of leadership, executive citations, certificates, and an honorary degree; from various institutions and organizations around the country.

 Dr. McNeill, in addition to his other ministerial responsibilities, was Dean of Christian Education and the Northeast Jurisdictional General Overseer for the International Fellowship of Charismatic Churches, Inc. Bishop Travis M. Buckley, International Presiding Bishop.

 With his many accomplishment, Dr. McNeill is most excited about the new chapter in his ministerial career. In January 2020 he was called to serve as the pastor of The Light of the World Outreach Center of Catonsville, Maryland. Pastor McNeill is under the covering of The Very Reverend Allison A. Lightner, General Overseer, Kingdom Lighthouse Assembly. Where he serves as the first assistant to the Overseer. 

 Overseer McNeill, with the various ministries and responsibilities, is also a family man. He is a son, big brother, uncle, grandson, and friend to a family that supports him in every aspect of his life and ministry. He is so grateful for his father and mother, Michael Sr. and Tracey, his sister Lennae.  His grandparents Elder Shelia P. Sanders- Parker, M.A. (Biblical Studies) (Author of I Sing My Psalm), Mr. Joseph Parker, Brenda Parrish, M.Ed., and last but certainly not least the heartbeat outside his chest his nephew Dylan.
